 | About low-sulphur fuels production with catalytic cracking process application. |
 The press of catalytic cracking for unpredesulfurized vacuum distillates allows to produce gasoline fractions with the content of 0,25% — 0,4% sulfur mass and diesel fractions with the content of 1,5-2,0% sulfur mass. Taking in account the toughening of environmental requirements for specified products, specifically for sulfur content (in perspective no more than 50 ppm for Euro-4 standard, no more than 10 ppm for Euro-5 standard) the fine desulfurization of original vacuum distillate or auxiliary hydrofining of received gasoline and diesel distillates are required.

Usage of the high-voltage power supplies operating practices optimal for the specific oils and parameters is one of the important conditions for the electro-dehydrators correct functionability, along with perfection of the hydrodynamics of the process and electrode system design. There is only the one dimension-type family of the high-voltage power supplies with 15 kV maximum output voltage and with 25, 15 and 9 kVA output powers at the present time. However, alerting fact is that the developers had fixed the range of their usage proceeding only from the capacity of the electro-dehydrators for the de-emulsification of different oils. The range is: 25 kVA for EG-200 and EG-160; 15 kVA for EG-100 and EG-63; 9 kVA for EG-63 and for the smaller capacity equipment.
